# Joaquín Proaño ## Director · Filmmaker · Creative Joaquín Proaño is an Ecuadorian director and filmmaker based in Miami. Explore selected films, commercial and social work, and project inquiries. ## Between frames. I've always lived slightly outside the frame. Between countries, between languages, between who I was and who I'm becoming. It taught me to look closer, and to find what sits underneath a moment: the part people feel before they can name it. I'm Joaquín Proaño, an Ecuadorian director based in Miami. Every story worth telling carries a cost. Something left behind, something held onto, someone quietly changing. That's what I look for, whether it's a campaign, a brand film or a character on screen. Working with UFC, the Miami HEAT and Trulieve taught me to earn attention in seconds. I bring that rhythm to every frame, without losing the patience it takes to make something people carry with them.
